Michael Iannini
Michael Iannini is ACAMIS’s Leadership Development Facilitator, a Search Associates Partner supporting its members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction, and Retention of Overseas Teachers, and a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant with the following areas of expertise:
• Appraisal and Professional Development
• Leadership Training
• School Governance
• Strategic Planning
Michael’s first book, Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders, is the foundation for all his leadership development work. Since writing this book he launched www.middleleader.com where he is regularly posting articles on school leadership and interviews with school leadership influencers.
Iris Ngai Sze Chan
Iris Chan, originally from Vancouver, Canada is a Beijing-based educator with over 17+ years of teaching and administrative experience in K-12 international schools. With over a decade working in a Canadian Offshore School as an Assistant Superintendent and British Columbia Ministry of Education Liaison, she is currently at Beijing International Bilingual Academy (BIBA). She currently serves in the roles of WASC’s Bilingual Committee Chair, Project Lead for their Bilingual Pilot Program, and Elementary School Grade Level Lead (2nd Grade). She was recognized for the 2022 School Spirit Award, 2023 Best Chinese-Western Collaboration Teaching Team Award, and the 2023 Outstanding Teacher Award for her contributions at BIBA. Iris Chan’s extensive experience includes Montessori philosophy, curriculum integration, educational technology, and bilingual education.
