This community is designed exclusively for educators that have either recently gone for a senior leadership position and didn’t get it or are planning to apply for senior leadership positions next year. This community will be a compass, guiding you through a series of four immersive peer sharing and learning sessions, each crafted to provoke reflection, broaden perspective, and shape your trajectory towards a future brimming with leadership possibilities.

Michael Iannini

Michael Iannini is ACAMIS’s Leadership Development Facilitator, a Search Associates Partner supporting its members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction, and Retention of Overseas Teachers, and a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant with the following areas of expertise:

Michael’s first book, Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders, is the foundation for all his leadership development work. Since writing this book he launched www.middleleader.com where he is regularly posting articles on school leadership and interviews with school leadership influencers.

Sarah Torolano

Sarah Tortolano is an experienced educational leader within the international scene, who is hugely passionate about supporting and mentoring individuals in striving to reach their personal and professional goals. Currently based in Shanghai, Sarah has previously been Head of Wellbeing in a highly reputable school in Dubai where she implemented and drove a wellness curriculum, that was observed and recognized for the positive impact on the community by the local educational government. Sarah moved to China in 2021 and has been promoted within the organisation multiple times. She is now the Head of Pastoral Care for one of the larger campuses in Shanghai. Sarah has overcome numerous barriers and challenges to get to where she is and believes in sharing successful strategies with others.
