This participant-driven gathering is an opportunity to connect in-person, share practices, and explore common professional inquiries.

Spend an energising Saturday afternoon connecting with TAs from across Singapore to trade ideas, try quick-win strategies, and build a support network that lasts beyond the event. Across three focused breakout rooms you’ll explore smoother teacher-TA collaboration, proven classroom-management routines, and student-support techniques you can roll out on Monday morning. Expect short demos, peer discussion, and plenty of time to swap what works in real classrooms so you leave recharged, confident, and ready to make an even bigger impact.

Henry worked in three international schools and two bilingual schools with student populations ranging from 250 to 1400. His responsibility in the international schools was to oversee and provide leadership for non-academic functions. He is also the author of “Thriving in International Schools: A Guide for Local Administrative Non-Teaching Support Staff.

Purposeful Observations and the Environment as the Third Teacher: The TA’s Role in Creating Inspiring Learning Spaces

The classroom environment is more than just a backdrop, it’s a powerful “third teacher” that invites curiosity, creativity and deep learning. In this session, let’s explore how we can use purposeful observations to notice children’s interests, needs and learning dispositions, then translate those insights into meaningful provocations and thoughtfully planned spaces. I’d love to guide you through as you play a key role in shaping environments that spark wonder, foster independence, and respond to children’s evolving learning journeys.

If notice of cancellation re the registered participant is received:

30+ days pre-event: 80% of fee is refundable
15-29 days pre-event: 40% of fee is refundable
Less than 15 days pre-event: no refund

Refund due to PD Event Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of a conference, workshop or online PD program, we will fully refund the registration or sponsorship fee(s) paid. However, we will be unable to refund any travel, visa or accommodation expenses incurred or course material fees where access has been granted.
