Co-Presentation
Saturday, January 23, 2027 | 11:05-11:55AM
Professional learning for operational and admin teams can take many forms, and every school will approach it differently depending on its people, context, and resources. In this session, the presenters will share some of the approaches they have been developing at The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) - from creating intentional space for colleagues to learn together within the school, to exchanging practice across schools and building broader professional communities.
They will share practical examples, what has worked for them, what they have adjusted along the way, and the lessons we are still learning. Participants will also have opportunities to reflect on their own context, exchange ideas with others, and consider approaches they could adapt in ways that are realistic and useful for their own schools.
Facilitators
Jye Khor
Talent Development Assistant Manager
The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL)
Jye is the Talent Development Assistant Manager at The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL), where she advocates for the professional growth of operational and instructional support employees. Before moving into talent development, she practiced as a lawyer and worked pro bono with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Her varied experience shapes how she approaches learning at work: looking across roles and organizations, challenging conventional approaches, while keeping ideas practical enough to actually work. At ISKL, her work spans professional learning, employee development, and cross-school collaboration. She enjoys bringing people together and seeing how a small idea can grow into something bigger. She believes schools already hold a wealth of knowledge within and around them; we just need better ways to learn from it.

She is passionate about turning complex technology into practical, effective solutions that empower people, streamline processes, and create sustainable impact.
