Peer-to-Peer events have no cost to educators.
This event is free for all participants thanks to the generous sponsorships of Otus. Their support makes it possible for us to bring together educators and school administrators for an afternoon of shared learning and collaboration, at no cost to you.
Join us for a full-day Peer Sharing and Learning event hosted by Changchun American International School (CAIS) and sponsored by Otus, where educators will connect, collaborate, and most importantly, share and demonstrate how their respective schools are introducing innovative technologies to students. The event will explore innovative strategies for teaching in the digital age.
The morning will feature a keynote presentation by Daniel Rosenberg on "Empowering Students in the Digital Age," and immersive learning experiences in CAIS's new technology center. Guests will have the opportunity to observe firsthand how the school utilizes its cutting-edge facilities by choosing one of four engaging sessions.
These immersive learning experiences offer a chance to delve into specific areas of interest:
Navigating AI and Responsible Technology Use: Teaching responsible technology use in the age of AI.
Inquiry-Based Learning with VR and AR: Using VR/AR to enhance inquiry-based learning.
Creating Collaborative Multimedia Projects: Integrating green screen technology for student projects.
STEM programs at school in the age of AI: Shaping STEM programs in the age of AI.
Following lunch, there will be a campus tour and then participants will either choose a new room or continue their discussion from the morning by rejoining the original room they selected. There, using CAIS’s facilities as a backdrop, they will demonstrate how their own schools utilize similar technologies, sharing experiences, resources, and best practices with their peers. Together, attendees will uncover practical ways to integrate new ideas, tools, and approaches into their schools and classrooms.
