Ms. Sissy Shen has been with Yew Chung International School of Shanghai (YCIS Shanghai Pudong) since 2008 and currently serves as the Co-Principal. She is a dedicated educator and leader, with nearly 20 years of rich knowledge and experience in education. Her unwavering dedication, passion, and hard work have earned her the trust and respect of the entire school community.

Throughout her tenure, Ms. Shen has held numerous leadership roles, including Year Level Leader, Chinese Head of Primary, Curriculum & Committee Leader, Professional Development Coordinator, Vice Principal of Early Childhood Education and Primary, K12 Assistant Co-Principal, and K12 Co-Principal (ECE to IBDP). Notably, she has achieved YCYW Master Teacher status, reflecting her commitment to educational excellence and her exceptional leadership abilities.

Ms. Shen holds a Master’s degree in International Chinese Language Education from East China Normal University and is a qualified Psychological Consultant. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Business Administration. As an educator, she always leads by example in lifelong learning and in recent year, she completed her Doctor of Education (EdD). Her background in psychology has driven her to promote the importance of holistic education that focuses not only on students’ academic achievements but also on their social and emotional development.

Beyond her school duties, she is also a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluation team and serves as an external mentor to master's degree students at East China Normal University. She is often invited to host workshops at various Chinese Language Education and Leadership Conferences.

Ms. Shen's professional interests include international education, curriculum development, pedagogy, teachers' professional learning, cross-cultural leadership and professional coaching. Ms. Shen strives to use a collaborative approach to leadership, working to build trust with colleagues, students, and parents to create a well-rounded community for providing a high-quality holistic education to our students.

Beyond education, Ms. Shen is also passionate about public welfare, and went to Mianzhu, Sichuan Province, after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake to provide psychological assistance and teach in a local tent school.

沈茜女士自2008年起加入上海耀中外籍人员子女学校（上海耀中浦东校区），现任联合校长。她是一位敬业的教育者和领导者，拥有近20年丰富的教育知识和经验。她坚定不移的奉献、热情以及辛勤工作赢得了整个学校社区的信任和尊重。

在任职期间，沈女士担任过多个领导职务，包括年级组长、小学部中文主管、课程与委员会领导、教师专业发展主任、幼儿及小学部副校长、全校助理校长以及联合校长。值得一提的是，在她教学期间，还获得了耀中耀华特级教师的称号，这体现了她对卓越教学和领导力的承诺。

沈女士毕业于华东师范大学，拥有国际汉语教育硕士学位，并是国家认证的二级心理咨询师。此外，她还拥有华东理工大学的商业管理学士学位。作为教育工作者，她始终以身作则，终身学习，近几年，她也完成了自己的教育博士学位（EdD）。她的心理学背景促使她倡导全人教育，不仅关注学生的学业成绩，还重视他们的社交和情感发展。

除了学校职责外，她还是国际学校理事会（CIS）评估团队的成员，并担任华东师范大学硕士生的校外导师。她经常被邀请在各种国际汉语教育和领导力峰会上主持工作坊。

沈女士的职业兴趣包括国际教育、课程开发、教学法、教师专业学习、跨文化领导力和职业教练。她努力采用协作的领导方式，与同事、学生和家长建立信任，致力于为学生建立一个完善的学习社区以保证高质量的全人教育。

教育之外，沈女士还热衷公益，曾在2008年汶川地震后赴四川绵竹进行心理援助以及在当地的帐篷学校支教。
