Other Locations: Shenzhen (Jan 16), Shanghai (Feb 27)

About the Conference

The ACAMIS Student Leadership Conference on Technology Leadership brings together students and faculty advisers who are interested in how technology can improve learning, communication, creativity, and school life.

This one-day, in-person conference is designed for school teams of up to 5 students and 1 to 2 faculty advisers. Schools will attend as teams, with students taking an active role in sharing challenges, presenting ideas, and shaping future action.

Technology leadership is not only about using tools. It is about making thoughtful decisions, supporting peers, asking responsible questions, and helping schools adapt to change.

The Central Question

How can students lead the responsible and creative use of technology in school?

Students will explore topics such as artificial intelligence, digital citizenship, student tech support, media creation, data use, online behaviour, and the role of student voice in technology decisions.

Intended Outcomes

By the end of the conference, participating teams will:

Identify opportunities for technology to improve learning, communication, creativity and school life

Explore responsible approaches to artificial intelligence, digital citizenship, data, privacy and online behaviour

Develop a practical idea for strengthening student technology leadership within their school

Consider how student voice can contribute to technology planning and decision-making

Build connections with peers who are navigating similar opportunities and challenges
