Teaching in Tandem: Collaborative Systems and Co-Teaching Frameworks for Language Growth

In inclusive classrooms, language growth does not happen in isolation—it requires robust collaboration between content educators and EAL specialists. This interactive session explores how teachers can effectively partner using structured co-teaching models and systems to build language-rich environments. Moving beyond the traditional "one teach, one support" dynamic, participants will learn how to leverage Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to offer multiple pathways for language expression. Educators will leave equipped with "Monday-morning ready" instructional strategies, collaborative planning frameworks, and school-wide systems that bridge the gap between rigorous content and language acquisition.
