ACAMIS PD Advisory Forum

Keeping Professional Learning Relevant, Responsive, and Connected

September 3, 2026 | November 19, 2026 | February 25, 2027
Thursdays, 4:00PM - 5:00PM GMT+8

Limited to 25 colleagues.

Purpose of the ACAMIS PD Advisory Forum

Help shape the future direction of ACAMIS professional learning outside of the conference schedule.

The newly formed ACAMIS PD Advisory Forum brings together practitioners and leaders from across the ACAMIS network to share emerging needs, identify gaps, highlight successful practices, and inform future ACAMIS non-conference professional learning.

Shaped by Insight from Across the Network

The Forum creates regular opportunities to gather insight directly from practitioners and leaders across the network and use that insight to inform the planning of future ACAMIS non-conference professional learning.

The purpose is to better understand emerging needs, identify gaps, share successful practices, and ensure that ACAMIS learning opportunities remain timely and relevant to member schools.

Membership will aim to reflect a range of school sizes, regions, and roles across the association.

What the Forum Will Explore

Sessions may include:

  • Facilitated discussion

  • Review of participation and feedback data

  • Consultation around emerging topics

  • Examples of effective practice from member schools

  • Occasional invited contributors whose expertise can help inform future planning

The Forum will meet three times per year, creating an ongoing connection between the experiences of member schools and the development of future ACAMIS learning opportunities.

Intended Outcomes

By participating in the Forum, members will:

Share emerging trends and challenges from their school context

Identify gaps in current professional learning provision

Inform future ACAMIS non-conference workshops, forums, and learning opportunities

Highlight successful practices that may benefit other schools

Contribute to a clearer understanding of professional learning needs across the network

Strengthen connections between schools facing similar challenges

From Discussion to Future Planning

Following each meeting, members will receive a short summary highlighting:

  • Emerging themes

  • Professional learning priorities

  • Areas of concern or opportunity

  • Suggestions for future programming

  • Examples of effective practice from member schools

These reports will help inform future ACAMIS planning while strengthening its role as an information hub and connector across the association.
