The Community for Administrative Department Heads who are new to International Schools is designed to support and connect non-teaching administrative leaders who are new to the international school environment.
This community meets regularly to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving among department heads in areas such as HR, Finance, Operations, Facilities Management, Marketing, Admissions, Communications, and Business Management. Conversations within this community revolve around adapting to the unique challenges and opportunities of international school administration, compliance with international standards, effective communication strategies, and optimizing the operational aspects of international schools.

Ray Chow, originally from Canada, is a Beijing-based leadership consultant and executive coach with 25+ years of experience in corporate and educational sectors. Adept in HR and operational leadership, Ray has worked with organizations like EY Ernst & Young and international schools across Asia and Europe. As a PeerSphere facilitator, Ray aims to create an environment that fosters collective learning and growth. Ray specializes in adaptive mindset shifts, cross-cultural communication, talent management, change management, and workplace coaching. He is married to an educator and administrator, raising three children in a bilingual world school in Beijing.
