The Primary Grade Level Leader Community is a vibrant forum where dedicated educators gather to discuss and collaborate on leadership matters concerning this vital role. This community meets regularly to exchange ideas, strategies, and resources that support your team to deliver effective teaching and learning for their students.

Conversations within this community revolve around the challenges and rewards of leading collaborative teams, as well as curriculum development, innovative teaching methods and classroom management specific to the primary grade levels. Michael Iannini

Michael Iannini is ACAMIS’s Leadership Development Facilitator, a Search Associates Partner supporting its members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction, and Retention of Overseas Teachers, and a Council of International Schools (CIS) Affiliated Consultant with the following areas of expertise:

  • Appraisal and Professional Development 
  • Leadership Training
  • School Governance
  • Strategic Planning

Michael’s first book, Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders, is the foundation for all his leadership development work. Since writing this book he launched www.middleleader.com where he is regularly posting articles on school leadership and interviews with school leadership influencers.”

Ray Chow, originally from Canada, is a Beijing-based leadership consultant and executive coach with 25+ years of experience in corporate and educational sectors. Adept in HR and operational leadership, Ray has worked with organizations like EY Ernst & Young and international schools across Asia and Europe. As a PeerSphere facilitator, Ray aims to create an environment that fosters collective learning and growth. Ray specializes in adaptive mindset shifts, cross-cultural communication, talent management, change management, and workplace coaching. He is married to an educator and administrator, raising three children in a bilingual world school in Beijing.
